Wayne A. Lawson PhD

Dr. Wayne A. Lawson is the Senior Pastor of the historic First Baptist Church, Ardmore, OK. He and his wife, Michelle, are both educators and life-long learners. Dr. Lawson is committed to educating the body of Christ. He is a former instructor at Gateway Seminary and Langston University. He is also served as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Adult School of Public Administration at Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma. He has been in ministry for over 40 years. He and Michelle have been married 42 years and have three adult children and 13 grandchildren who keep them busy.
