I am a Cancer Survivor of Hodgkins Lymphoma. Also a single black mother of 4 and SINGLE grandmother of 3, which was raised by a SINGLE woman. I am from Louisiana and has always been destined to find my way and placement. Before becoming an Author, my entire life has been in shambles. I write this poetry to release my pains and gain humbleness. Poetry is a hobby for me and I lay my emotions there. I’ve encountered depression from childhood, as well as, suicidal in my teenage years. POETRY ALLOWED ME TO ESCAPE! I AM A TRUE BELIEVER IN GOD AND I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL THAT HE CHOSE ME!
