Moira H. Scott

Moira H. Scott was born in St. Thomas Ontario, several decades ago and no, she's not going to tell you how many. She credits her private school education as being soley responsible for her bent sense of humour, (a survival tactic perhaps?) During her formative years she cultivated a love of photography and drawing as creative outlets. When she moved to Toronto to study Film at York University, she was introduced to the literary genres of Science Fiction and Fantasy. Not long thereafter she became a panelist at SF/F conventions presenting on Wicca and Witchcraft in popular culture, Secret Societies: Fact or Fiction and Modern Mythologies, to name a few. A long time Witch herself (and no, that is not an insult), she has contributed stories to such anthologies as Dreaming the Goddess, and its sequel Dreaming the God.

Moira's other interests are widely varied, ranging from twentieth century military history, reading Tarot, and exploring Heraldry in Canada. Currently she resides in Toronto with her two black cats, Tesla (named for the inventor and not the car) and Crowley, named after David Tennant's character in Good Omens, both have developed a penchant for sitting on the keyboard anytime Moira sits down to write; because cats just know. However, she says because they're cute, they get a hall pass. Watch this space for information on her upcoming work.
