Gale Kragt

Pastor Gale Kragt was chaplain for eighteen years at three hospitals in Southwest Michigan. He has served as the Executive Director and Founder of the Spiritual Care Consultants of West Michigan in Hastings since 2007.

Pastor Kragt had a heart for ministry in his teen years. Before college, he served part-time in jail ministry for three years through the Forgotten Man Ministries program in Allegan County. He also spent time in the mission field, helping Native Americans on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. While in college, Pastor Kragt helped build a church in Monterrey, Mexico, with other mission team volunteers. He travels to Costa Rica and Honduras yearly for missions.

Pastor Kragt holds a doctorate and master’s degree in Christian Counseling and Psychology, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in religion at Kingswood University in Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada.

Pastor Kragt has been a hospital chaplain for eight years and served as pastor at churches in Battle Creek and Delton, Michigan, for eight years, sometimes concurrently.
