Long before our times of the modern world, there was a land of fairies, a land of castles and of kings and queens; it was home to that of the Gibbon Apes, and of the Komodo Dragons who were fierce in battle and devoted in friendships. But the most important of these perhaps, is the Litoran people.

The story begins as Neree, former King of Litora Falls, shares the tales of his lifetime with his grandchildren.

And though this land may seem like a dream come true, at times, it is anything but. While many great things occur in the land of Litora Falls, the evil Draconian, Trillian, is lingering behind all in wait to destroy Neree and all he loves.

In particular, Trillian has his eye on Princess Kayla, who, as the most powerful Litoran woman of all time, is to be sacrificed for her powers to Trillian's son, Ciar. As Kayla is introduced to the newer, simpler world and to the parents she has known nothing of for the past 20 years, she is also introduced to a new kind of evil, of nothing she has ever imagined before.

Will King Neree be able to keep away all that threatens his land and the lives of his loved ones? Can he destroy Trillian and Ciar before it is too late? Or will the evil Draconian Trillian find a way to Princess Kayla and rule, destroying the world as Neree knows it?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I grew up in Cabot, Arkansas, in the 50’s & 60’s.

In 1966, I came to Arizona, where I married my high school sweetheart, and raised my family.

My passion for writing was ignited years ago by my young grandson, who encouraged me to write while caring for a family member. We would sit around the computer, and I would type and read aloud my story, which brought great joy and peace to the day for all of us. I can still, to this day, see the excitement in his face and hear his suggestions for the names of characters as he listened to my words.

Over time, he would ask what I did with my book and encourage me to publish it.

I told him that I was getting old and asked if there was anything he wanted me to leave to him. His answer was…..Grandma, the only thing you have that I wish for (besides you) is your book.

Now, I am a first-time author and excited to share my story! I am now working on the second of the series.
