While Kim loves inspiring others, her most important job has been being a momma to her son, Spencer, a wife to her husband, Scott, and, of course, a dog momma to her three rescue dogs, George, Sophie, and Luna. She’s also a stepmom to Drew, Sidney, and Clair, a devoted runner and lover of books, and she has had a Friday lunch date with her beloved one-hundred-year-old grandmother for twenty-three years. Another passion of Kim’s is rescuing dogs who have been abandoned or mistreated—to date, she has rescued or rehomed 208 dogs. A portion of her book sales will fund her animal rescue missions, Happy Tails Inc. and Rivers Edge Animal Shelter. Kim resides in Tell City, Indiana.
