Douglas Chavis, widely recognized in the football community as the "Kicker and Punter Guru," is a distinguished Professional Kicking and Punting Coach. A Troy High School alum from Troy, Ohio, class of 1985, Doug furthered his education at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa. His football career reached a peak in 1991 when he signed with the NFL's Los Angeles Raiders as a Punter and joined their practice squad. The following year marked the beginning of his coaching journey, where he served as a player/coach specializing in training specialists – kickers and punters.

For over three decades, Doug has dedicated his life to coaching and mentoring athletes, focusing on their holistic development. He emphasizes the importance of balancing high expectations and success pressures in today's world. His approach navigates the delicate interplay between parental and coaching influences. Through patience and understanding, Doug believes in fostering positive outcomes, providing young athletes with the best of both worlds.
