Dave Rich

Dave received his BS in economics from the University of Idaho in 1988. After receiving his MA in economics from the University of Washington, Dave taught at a small liberal arts university in Columbus, Ohio. Dave and his family moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, and began attending Kootenai Community Church in 1999. Dave assumed the office of elder in 2001. He's been active in youth ministry, children's programs like Adventure Club, and teaching youth and adult Sunday school. Dave is a huge fan of all the major sports and loves the Atlanta Braves, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Lakers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Washington Huskies, and Idaho Vandals. He loves to read and usually has several books going at once: a fictional story, a theology tome, a biography, and a science or history text. God Doesn't Try is Dave's first book, written with Jim Osman, author of numerous books including Truth or Territory, The Prosperity of the Wicked, Selling the Stairway to Heaven, and God Doesn't Whisper.
