Doug Dolan

Doug Dolan describes himself as a seventy - year old novice writer. He picked up his creative writing pen five years into retirement and has not stopped. He writes primarily short stories about people he has met on his "life path" as he calls it. The characters are as varied and complex as Dolan himself. The one factor linking them is that the people and the situations are real. Doug commented that many people are hungry for lived experiences. His writing serves up a heaping dish. The stories demonstrate his keen observational skills and the descriptions of the great Miramichi Valley in New Brunswick are so vivid as to leave a reader breathless for more.

Doug lives in Moncton NB with his husband Gary.
