JT Tierney’s novels focus on resilient, sharp-witted women navigating the messy realities of starting over when life turns in unexpected directions. His workplace comedy Perfect Plans received the 2025 Reedsy Discovery Editor’s Choice Award. He is currently writing a novel set in 1950s Washington, D.C., about four women—two reporters and two government workers—who join forces to expose a devastating political and corporate conspiracy. He and his wife live outside Chicago with their Great Pyrenees.
