Alexander Babayan

My sister and I had our very own literary treasure chest, thanks to mom and dad. Every year, like clockwork, they'd sneak a few more age-appropriate books onto our shelf. Imagine in the days before the internet became our collective brain and social media our town square. Back then, "liking" something meant actually enjoying it, not just tapping a screen. Our adventures unfolded in the great outdoors or between the pages of a book.

Coming from a lineage peppered with poets, writers, and translators, it was almost inevitable that I'd fall head over heels for writing. The pandemic, in its own twisted way, gave me the push I needed to channel my inner wordsmith. I dove into the world of fiction, with a soft spot for holiday cheer and a zest for satire. My first plunge? A Christmas story. And now, I'm weaving a satirical tale that I hope tickles the fancy of my readers as much as it amuses me to write.

Here's to hoping my audience finds my stories as deliciously engaging as a mystery novel hidden behind a secret library panel.
