Joy Crabaugh

Joy Crabaugh is a single mom (first and foremost!), business leader, career communicator, and passionate about truth and transparency. She enjoys spending time in nature, camping, exercising, and adventuring with her daughter. She embarked on an entrepreneurial journey in 2023 with the launch of an e-commerce brand, Nature Shed, focused on creating beautiful products for the home that celebrate nature. In 2024, she launched Nature Shed Publishing with the vision of creating passion-project content that mirrors her spiritual and professional journeys. Joy has a master’s degree in international relations. Her experience spans roles in the military, government, and corporate organizations and includes serving as an active-duty U.S. Marine Corps public affairs officer, spokesperson for the Office of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon, as well as other senior communication and sustainability roles.
