I am a Colorado watercolor painter, photographer and author living in the mountains with my family.
I am a dog and horse lover, riding my horses most days in the mountains by my home. I am also an ultra runner (one of those crazies running races over 26.2 miles). Running with my dogs and riding my horses through the Colorado backcountry gives me peace and ideas for my artwork.
"Quinn's Talking Ears" is my first children's picture book, inspired by Quinn's fun, communicative ears.
Traditionally trained as an emergency medicine physician, I use my expertise of anatomy to create realistic, emotionally charged watercolors.
My paintings have been in numerous exhibitions including the International American Watercolor Society’s Exhibition in New York City and are featured in the Spring 2023 edition of the Art of Watercolor Magazine (49th Issue).
