Poetess 1981

Hello, I am a single mother to a beautiful teenage daughter. My pen name is Poetess1981. I am a very nice lady that enjoys hanging with family. I have years of experience in volunteering, typing, writing, freelancing and customer service work. Some of my experience has been with associated content, yahoo voices, and I currently sell my art course at teachers pay teachers. I am skilled with designing my business flyers, brochures, cards and other promotional items. My writing career started when I was in the fifth grade. I had a teacher that made us recite poems from memory every week. I fell in love with Langston Hughes poetry. In middle school, I entered essay and poetry contests, only to receive participation certificates. However, that did not stop me from my love of writing.
