Alejandro Pohlenz

Alejandro Pohlenz was born in Mexico City and began writing for television in 1987 with a sitcom called "Three Generations". His first soap opera (as a writer) in Televisa (a mayor Spanish speaking media network) was the very succesful "Muchachitas" (Girls) in 1991.

He wrote more than 20 telenovelas including big hits like "El Premio Mayor" (The Great Price), "Amigas y Rivales" (Friends and Rivals), "la Fea más Bella" (The beautiful ugly Girl), "Mi Corazón es Tuyo" (My Heart is yours) and many others.

He wrote his first novel in 2008: "La Media Naranja" (The other half) a love story (available at Amazon). His second novel is called "La Rueda de la Fortuna" (The Wheel of Fortune), a very entertraining story about the consequences of suddenly loosing or winning money that was published with succes en Amazon. Now, Mr. Pohlenz is lounching "The Visitor" a science fiction novel that will certainly surprise you.
