Nestled in the heart of their urban community Detroit, Michigan, their love story is one for the ages, filled with challenges, triumphs, and an unwavering commitment to family.

The duo embarked on their writing journey as a way to create mirrors for their children in literature- stories where young black readers could see themselves as heroes, scholars, and dreamers. Each book, from "The Power of I Am" and "Smile, Little Black Child" to "The Manifestation Blueprint" and "My Amazing Body," is infused with the lessons they wish to impart to their children: empowerment, resilience, and the beauty of their heritage.
