The photo you see is me having a beer on the back porch with the Bitterroot mountains in the background. I'm a 26-year Cyber Operations Officer veteran of the US Air Force, former Alaska State Trooper, owner of Go Bird Writing and Go Bird Consulting, and currently a brain cancer survivor. My wife, Mary Ann, and I are proud parents to our two daughters, son-in-laws, and grandkids. We live on our small ranchette in Corvallis, Montana, hiking, running in the mountains, and gardening.
Many readers may see similarities to D&D, which I played while in Jr High and High School. I loved the game because it was as much about problem-solving as it was about successfully making it through adversity that the Dungeon Master could throw at my characters and my friends’ characters. The young characters you’re about to meet in this book, will learn about themselves and figure out how to overcome adversity together. When you’re done with this, book two, Mead Me at the Mountain, will pick up where this book stopped but will take you on a whole new adventure. Please enjoy.
