I love creating and always have since I was a small girl. For the last 18 years I have loved exploring stitched shibori and creating new designs with it. My focus is to harness my creative power to help others in their shibori adventures, along with my own work. My explorations build my skills and so feed into the guidance and assistance I can give.

A book is a way of reaching many people around the world to introduce them to the beautiful patterns that can be created.

I am excited about the blossoming mending movement all around the world. It is wonderful to see this creative power and imagination being used to make the world a better place. And I want to be part of that, to use shibori patterns in upcycling and mending. I have also created a series of step-by-step patterns inspired by the natural world that can be used to enhance clothing and household items.
