Arnold Fisher

My name is Arnold Fisher. I served in both the Kansas and Missouri National Guard for 17 years. I deployed to Iraq in 2003 with the the 203rd Engineers. I have been drawing Sgt Rutt since 1987 after joining the Army National Guard. Sgt. Rutt is based off many soldiers that I served with over the years. He is ever evolving, and growing.

I've always wanted to be a cartoonist but was always nervous about sharing Sgt. Rutt with the world. I need to firstly thank my beautiful wife for always encouraging me to take the leap and put him out there to see where it may lead. I also need to thank the men and women I served with over the years for without them Sgt. Rutt wouldn't be possible.
