Julie Hamstead

Julie Hamstead is a doctor by day, but continues to try and be a novelist by evenings and weekends.

Originally from Yorkshire, she now lives in the south of England with her family and various four-legged friends.

Her first novel, The Gemini Connection, was a finalist in the 2024 Page Turner Awards for Best Debut Novel (Suspense and Thrillers) and Best in Genre (Suspense and Thrillers) and shortlisted in the same awards for Best Novel With Potential to be Converted to a Screenplay.

She is currently working on her third book in the Bridges and Rivers Series, which, if the first two are anything to go by, will take her about two years!
