Colin King

Colin King is a New York–based stylist, creative director, and bestselling author whose intuitive approach to interiors has redefined the art of arrangement. A former dancer, he brings a choreographer’s sense of rhythm and movement into the world of design, creating quiet yet powerful moments that celebrate objects, light, and space.

His debut book, Arranging Things (Rizzoli), quickly became a bestseller, offering readers a poetic meditation on placement, proportion, and the beauty of the everyday. With lyrical essays and striking photography, it encourages a more mindful, artful way of living with the objects we love.

King’s styling work appears regularly in leading design publications including Architectural Digest, T Magazine, ELLE DECOR, and Ark Journal. He collaborates with some of the world’s most influential brands—among them Roman and Williams Guild, Zara Home, Crate & Barrel, West Elm, and Anthropologie,. As Artistic Director-at-Large for Beni Rugs, he has developed celebrated rug collections, and he continues to explore product design through partnerships with global ateliers such as AUDO Copenhagen.
