A.F. Mitchell has spent many years immersing herself in the fantasy world. As a child, it was always her dream to become an author. She would go to bed early, turn off the lights and close her eyes, that’s when her imagination would come to life. She would become the main character in her fantasy world. She wanted to prove to herself and others that even though she may not be the best at grammar, spelling or punctuation, she could write a great book through having a great imagination. A great book starts with a small idea. A character that has only eye colour. A shopkeeper who has lost his wife. A friend who struggles to settle down. A lonely woman who was always destined to be something special. All her characters started as a small idea! She loves how they evolve, how her ideas come to life, how her characters come to life. She hopes her readers see how passionate she is about her books. She wanted to write a novel that was easy to read, and that her readers would fall in love with the narrative and characters just as she has.
