Sonny is a passionate music historian and tune collector with a deep love for traditional folk music. Specializing in historical reprints and curated collections, Sonny brings rare and forgotten melodies back to life for modern musicians and enthusiasts. His work includes editions of classic tune books like Ryan’s Mammoth Collection and The Dancing Master, often with added indices, appendices, and fresh formatting to make them more accessible for today’s players. Also has published the most comprehensive Celtic tune collection ever put together which includes 6000 tunes over three volumes.

When not digging through dusty archives or fine-tuning layout designs, Sonny can be found playing music, researching cultural history, or sharing tunes with fellow trad fans around the world.
