About The Author

W.C. resides in Colorado with his family. He is a proud father, grandfather and a devoted husband. He is a musician and woodworker and enjoys spending his time creating new things.

As a child, his family would take trips around the United States visiting historical sites from Gettysburg to Dealey plaza and from Atlanta to Deadwood. These visits would be underscored with an emphasis on their historical significance.

As a pre-teen, his father would entertain him with fictionalized stories of the places they had visited based around the actual history.

“His stories were wildly entertaining and I remember them quite fondly, but more so they became an enticement to study history with relish and ignited the desire to create my own fiction centered on mankind’s most significant historical moments.”

The Lownsbury Chronicles is W.C. Wallbaum’s opus of that effort centered on (Among various infamous events) one of the greatest stories ever told that resonates to this day. Many of the characters in “The Lownsbury Chronicles; The Machine” are based upon actual people and actual events. It is encouraged that the reader performs their own research on the characters to learn about them and pull even greater appreciation of the recorded historical events that unfolded.

“I have, of course, taken liberties based on numerous theological theories and actual scripture, but have nonetheless held true to my own passionate theories of past events in many cases; often taking current events as a guide to past occurrences.”

The first book - “First Strike” - introduces us to our cast of characters and offers mysterious insight to the part each will play. The second book - “Second Options” - brings us a little deeper into the mystery to have a complete understanding of our story within the third book - “Third Rule” - where all is revealed.

No matter your own beliefs, it is a sincere hope you enjoy and are enticed to research more into the beliefs that have led the world since their inception.

“As my father would always teach - Everyone should have a solid understanding of what it is they believe and, more importantly, why they believe it”
