Jamon Alex Halvaksz

Jamon Alex Halvaksz II is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at Georgetown University and has conducted fieldwork in Papua New Guinea since 1998. His research has focused on the political ecology of agriculture, conservation areas, and gold mining along the Upper Bulolo River of Morobe Province. His current research focuses climate change and urbanization in South Texas and Papua New Guinea.
