Gary Miles

Gary Miles grew up in the nineteen seventies in a West Country village and later moved to Hemel Hempstead at the age of nineteen. Whilst in Hemel Hempstead he wrote a play for the local arts centre for young people. His play was performed over three nights in April 1990 and contained ideas that he has since revisited in his debut young adult fantasy book Where The Mind Wanders.

He likes reading, creative writing, walking, swimming and looking after rabbits. In 2020 he moved back to the village he spent his youth in and he now swims at the local marine lake in Clevedon and takes walks in the countryside.
