Alexandre Silva

Alexandre Silva is a Brazilian tax attorney (Brazilian Bar Association – OAB/SP nº 451.845), founder and CRO of Rebechi & Silva Advogados Associados, and is known as "O Tributarista dos Empresários" – the Business Owners' Tax Lawyer.

His working thesis is simple: tax is not an obligation, it is a competitive advantage. Most Brazilian companies do not lose money through bad faith or lack of effort, but by making tax decisions in the dark – looking at the nominal rate instead of the real effect on cash flow, margin, price and competitiveness.

He is the author of Brazil Tax Reform: The Business Owner's Survival Guide and of its Portuguese counterpart, Reforma Tributária: O Manual de Sobrevivência do Empresário, now in its 4th revised and expanded edition, dedicated to preparing Brazilian companies for the tax reform transition between 2026 and 2033. He also wrote Faça Direito, Faça Dinheiro (Editora Gente), a bestseller featured in the Veja and PublishNews lists, among other titles.

He writes and speaks about Brazil's tax reform, CBS, IBS, Split Payment, tax planning, tax settlement programs and tax credit recovery.

His path is unusual for a tax lawyer. Before practicing law, he built over 20 years of executive career in multinational corporations such as Nestlé and PepsiCo. He has worked in the legal and tax field since 2011 and earned his law degree from Universidade de Mogi das Cruzes (UMC) in 2020. He holds a degree in Advertising & Marketing from Universidade Paulista (UNIP) and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). He has sat on the side that signs the check, approves the budget and answers for the margin, and that is the chair from which he reads the law.

At Rebechi & Silva Advogados Associados, he advises business owners across Brazil. He is the founder of RebechiLabs and hosts TribuTalks, a podcast that translates tax reform into the language of the people who decide inside companies.

Outside work, he reads and practices Brazilian jiu-jitsu and sport shooting.
