Ella Casey Morgan

Ella Casey Morgan has survived over twenty years in the wild jungle known as elementary school teaching, armed only with coffee, endless patience, and an impressive ability to spot a glitter spill from fifty paces away. Along the way, she accidentally (or perhaps heroically) earned two Master’s degrees, one in Special Education and one in Theoretical Linguistics, because normal hobbies like gardening or knitting just weren’t challenging enough.

She fell in love with stories long before she could even spell "storybook," whisked away by the magical worlds of Charles Dickens, Umberto Eco, Roald Dahl, and R.L. Stine. These days, she builds her own little worlds, filled with adventure, wonder, and just the right amount of mischief.

Ella currently works as a teacher, has two children, a husband, a dog, a parrot, and zero working brain cells left over by 9pm. Most days she's shaping young minds at school, refereeing very serious disputes at home over whose turn it is on the good chair, and occasionally writing a book in the gaps in between. When the dust settles, she's usually outside pretending to be on a grand expedition, or sitting very still with a book, a cold cup of coffee, and absolutely no regrets.
