Ella Casey Morgan

Ella Casey Morgan has survived over twenty years in the wild jungle known as elementary school teaching — armed only with coffee, endless patience, and an impressive ability to spot a glitter spill from fifty paces away. Along the way, she accidentally (or perhaps heroically) earned two Master’s degrees — one in Special Education and one in Theoretical Linguistics — because normal hobbies like gardening or knitting just weren’t challenging enough.

She fell in love with stories long before she could even spell “linguistics,” whisked away by the magical worlds of Charles Dickens, Umberto Eco, Gabriel García Márquez, Toni Morrison, Ilias Venezis, and Nikos Kazantzakis. These days, she builds her own little worlds — filled with adventure, wonder, and just the right amount of mischief.

When Ella isn’t shaping young minds, writing up a storm, or refereeing friendly squabbles between her two brilliant children, she can usually be found outdoors pretending to be on a grand expedition... or curled up somewhere comfy with a good book, a cold cup of coffee, and absolutely no regrets.
