Julie Altinoglu is a French author, born in 1977 into a family of Armenian heritage. From an early age, she developed a love of words and the joy of storytelling. Following a career in communications and then sales, she now holds a leadership role while continuing to write.
Her first two novels, “Libre” and “Un goût de bonbon acidulé”, were published by Éditions 5 Sens in 2020, followed by “Elle danse sous la pluie” (Librinova, 2024), which explores self-discovery and inner freedom through the eyes of a young dancer. Her latest novel, “Elle s’appelait Shéhérazade”, is published in 2026, a psychological drama exploring violence within the family.
Her work combines sensitivity, humanity and psychological depth, with a particular focus on family relationships and resilience. Fluid and evocative, her writing draws on her dual cultural heritage for its richness of tone and emotion.
