Clare Reddaway

Clare Reddaway's debut novel Dancing In The Shallows is published in March 2024. When Isla Wintergreen inherits a cottage in Skye, it triggers an exploration of the island, her past and her future as she attempts to understand her family and find happiness. The novel was originally inspired by Clare's passion for water and swimming, as well as her love for the Isle of Skye where much of the story is set. Described as ‘engaging, immersive and utterly believable’ Dancing in the Shallows is available to pre-order now.

As well as writing long fiction, Clare writes short stories and plays. Her plays have been performed across the UK and her stories are widely published, recorded and broadcast. Recent story highlights include being long-listed for the BBC National Short Story Awards and short-listed for the Bridport Prize.

Clare is lucky enough to live in Bath, and writes in a room overlooking the golden city.
