Willem Buiter

Willem Buiter is an independent economic analyst and advisor. He was Global Chief Economist at Citigroup, Chief Economist at the EBRD and a founding external member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England. He was Professor of Economics at the LSE, Cambridge University, Yale University and the University of Bristol, and Assistant Professor at Princeton University. He is the author of 78 refereed articles and eight books.
