Matthew Raudsepp

Tha Chhay is a "WALKING MIRACLE" AS HE SURVIVED SO MUCH. He was born in Sisaphon, Cambodia. "Into the Shadows, I Ran" is his autobiographical story of surviving the Khmer Rouge Holocaust, his coping, striving, and thinking creatively as to how to secure his escape against many odds. He was able to eventually make it to America. After years of working in applied industrial textiles, making products for aerospace and medical companies, Tha felt it was time to share his story with the world, so his family's struggle to survive will not be forgotten.

Matthew Raudsepp, his spouse and co-writer, compiled Mr Chhay’s stories over thirty years to create 20 chapters, a prologue and epilogue to his incredible story. Matt grew up in Rainier, Oregon. He graduated from Gonzaga University in 1990, and taught English in Japan for his first two years out of college, before working for a major airline for over thirty years, as primarily a flight attendant/purser on transoceanic flights to Asia and Europe. He has seen much in the world and is a creative writer and gifted speaker.
