Rene Fuentes

Welcome to Rene's author page! Rene's books are available on both Kindle and paperback—a little background on Rene.

The author is a regular person who has made plenty of mistakes with failures in-between. He always felt that he was a square peg in a round world. His failures led him to feel unaccepted and sometimes unloved until a massive heart attack while surfing led to a near-death experience. There, he encountered his Creator and Savior, who assured him that he was always accepted and loved in spite of him. The Presence of God gave Rene the peace he was missing in his life. Rene believes the reason he is still alive is to write books that honor and give glory to God.

Rene has an MBA and a number of licenses and certifications in finance, secrities, and process improvement. He has had his own businesses. Rene has worked in executive level positons with a number of Fortune 1000 companies focusing on sales, business developemnt and strategic planning. Later in his career, he started to wonder what all of this had to do with eternity. Rene resides in California but wishes he lived in Maui. Rene is married and has three daughters, a son, and seven grandchildren.

His oldest daughter graduated from the University of Hawaii in accounting and gavde the graduation speech at her graduation. She resides in Maui with her family, she has four daughters—he loves to visit them! Some of his favorite things to do while in Maui, besides spending time with his ohana, are watching the sunset from the west side, eating poke, and having shaved ice from Ululani's.

His second oldest daughter and her family reside in California; she has three very active and atheletic sons. She is the Children's Ministry Director at her church.

Rene's two youngest are a boy/girl twin. His son graduated from Point Loma University in accounting and is a CPA. His youngest daughter graduated from the University of Hawaii in Human Resources and works in New York City.
