With a background in molecular virology, law enforcement, and science education, Jim brings a unique perspective to his writing. His fascination with sci-fi horror, sparked by Alien at an early age, fuels his exploration of humanity’s struggle against cosmic unknowns. He believes confronting fear drives personal growth, a theme central to Elysium Asunder. Jim holds degrees in science and education, with postgraduate work in virology, and has studied human behavior through martial arts, military interests, and philosophy. Currently a full-time writer, he is crafting more sci-fi horror novels to captivate readers. When not writing, he is a volunteer firefighter and resides in Canada’s Shield country, inspired by its beauty and diversity.
