Prof. (Dr.). Pradeep MK Nair
Dr. Pradeep MK Nair is Chief Medical Officer and Head of Research and development at Mirakle Integrated Health Center, India’s first Integrative Oncology Hospital and the Director of Indian Academy for Scientific Writing and Research, Pune. He was formerly a Professor & Head of Research at Sant Hirdaram Medical College of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences for Women, Bhopal. He was the first head of the Research and Development Department of the National Institute of Naturopathy, Govt of India and has worked in various collaborative research projects with institutes of repute. He is one of the renowned researchers in the field of Naturopathy and yoga who has authored more than 60 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals, as well as 23 chapters in National and International textbooks. He also authored a textbook “The Scientific Naturopath: A leap into the evidence behind naturopathy philosophies” and edited two text books, “ The Clinical Naturopathy’ and “Medical Ozone Therapy”. He serves as a reviewer for nearly 22 international journals and is an editorial board member of the Indian Journal of Naturopathy & Yoga published by the Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy, Ministry of AYUSH. He is the first BNYS graduate from India to have a publication in British Medical Journal. He was recognized as a youth icon for the year 2017 by the Indian Naturopathy and Yoga Graduates’ Medical Association for his contributions to the field of research in yoga and Naturopathy. He is a noted speaker for various CME’s and conferences and has delivered lectures on Fasting, Naturopathy philosophy, Gut flora, Research methods in Naturopathy and Yoga. His research areas of interest include epistemology in Naturopathy, fasting, biorhythms, gut flora, medical ozone therapy and public health. He works as a research consultant for various organizations of repute.
