David Satka

DAVID SATKA is a USA Pickleball Ambassador for Central Pennsylvania and a certified Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) coach. He founded the first outdoor pickleball courts in Altoona. An athlete all his life, he became a four year starter on the tennis team at Division I Indiana State University. David began his instructing career at the World Class Tennis Camp in Baltimore and continued as a tennis teaching professional in Altoona, PA. He recently retired after a 25-year career teaching high school history and as an adjunct professor of criminal justice at Penn State Altoona. He also served as a highly successful head basketball coach during his tenure as a teacher.
