Hello Readers!
I'm Steven Prop.
I'm an over the road trucker and photographer currently living in Westbrook, Maine. I'm nearly fifty-five years old. I was born in Los Angeles, California. I have lived in Maryland, Maine, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Alaska, Ohio and Washington.
My whole family was born on one side of the Monongahela River or the other in western Pennsylvania. My mom's side in Munhall, and my father's side in Turtle Creek. The exception is my brother who was born in Maryland.
I ended up in Alaska due to my service in the US Air force. I was an Airfield and power line electrician. I shifted to residential electricity after I got out. I felt more fulfilled building homes for people.
In the early 2000's I started getting laid off regularly so I went to truck driving school and I've been a long haul trucker since 2005. I'm also a photographer of landscapes, animals and the street. I'm twice divorced.
I have wrote the Casualties of Autumn as sort of a commentary on how I felt about getting divorced for the second time and living life in the third quarter. And I've written Little Minutes because I discovered with Casualties of Autumn that I liked writing prose and poetry.
If you have picked up a copy of either of my books or purchased them on Kindle, you have my gratitude, thank you so much.
Yours
Steven
