Elisa Eliot

Elisa Eliot is an award-winning writer, actress, producer, and educator who has been telling stories—and making things up professionally—for most of her life. She began performing with the Houston Grand Opera at age twelve and went on to study drama, literature, and playwriting at Yale. Since then, she has appeared on ABC, FX, MTV, Nickelodeon, and The WB and worked on projects with filmmakers including James Gunn. Elisa is the author of the middle-grade graphic novel Zak vs. Zombies and the founder of Triple Jack Productions, where she writes and produces stories for kids (and occasionally grown-ups). She is also a longtime acting teacher who loves helping young artists find their voices and tell stories of their own. When she isn’t writing, acting, producing, directing, or teaching, Elisa can usually be found wrangling her twins and Jack Russell terriers, dreaming up her next adventure, and—thanks to Zak VS. Zombies—remaining fully prepared for the zombie apocalypse. Elisa lives in Southern California with her family and is still working on getting herself onto Santa’s Nice List. ;)
