I am an academic scholar and practitioner, specialising in academic writing, literacy development and doctoral education. My research is underpinned by a commitment to creating wider access to and success in higher education for all students, especially those from minoritised and under-represented backgrounds. Both my research and practice work focuses on making higher education fairer, more representative of the people who create it, and more inclusive.
