Yana Mori is a writer and illustrator originally from Siberia, Russia, who embarked on a nomadic lifestyle at 21, traveling extensively and documenting her experiences through writing and art. While in Japan, she penned her first book, later publishing it in Indonesia. Her books, including the acclaimed Mama Shamana series, have been translated into French for publication in France, reaching audiences worldwide. Her imaginative works have inspired theater shows, music, poetry, sculptures, and visual art. Currently residing in Portugal, Yana continues her global travels, gathering material for her future literary endeavors.
