Howard D Blazek

I was born in Indiana in the United States at the start of World War II. My father went off to war while I was still an infant. My sister, mother and I moved to Chicago. We lived in a housing project for war widows and their children. It is dimly remembered.

My father would return, and we would move into a modest Georgian-style house on the far northwest side of Chicago. I enjoyed school and did well.
