Marc Renson is the Chef/Entrepreneur/Author of Ambition Coffee & Eatery in Schenectady, NY. When inundated with an overwhelming amount of odd questions he penned his first memoir from his restaurant, Is the Coffee Fresh? Winning an award for 2016 Best Non-Fiction from an LGBTQ Author.

Renson loves food, music and Hollywood and has invited all of that into his restaurant. One of his favorite quotes are, “Welcome to my world, welcome to my Ambition!”

Never dreaming he would ever write a second book, inspiration hit Renson when he heard in his mind, “Write a book, call it How Will I Know and use Whitney Houston as a guardian angel.”

Um, ok, I like that idea, but now how in the hell do you do that? Four years, he played with the idea. 2016 he started his first 18 pages. Then he intermingled his life’s challenges into his character Michael Monroe. And he used his love of pop music to help him with the story. “They always say, do what you love.”
