Tara M Hands

T.M. Hands is an American Graphic Novelist from the Bay Area of California. Hands was born December 1985, the youngest of four siblings. She grew up in a nerd cultured household. Full of Star Wars, Atari, and classic cartoons like ThunderCats. Her favorite things growing up were animals, pizza and The Ninja Turtles. Hands was Diagnosed Dyslexic in the first grade where she began to show signs of struggling with reading and writing, but her love of comic books and video games encouraged her to want to learn to read. By thirteen she wanted to write her own stories inspired by anime and video games. At sixteen Hands started to write her first comic and by twenty-one she named it Angel Protected. She published Angel Protected at the age of twenty five. Angel Protected is written, drawn and inked all by T.M. Hands. Although Hands still struggles with her Dyslexia from time to time, she even edits her work. By 2020 Hands republished her comic book as a graphic novel. She wishes that her comic books will inspire the next generation of writers and artist to continue to bring imaginative storytelling to the world.
