Marcie Rose Kearns

As a child I was an avid reader. I still have all my favorite books from as far back as third grade! Being such a fan of books, I pictured myself as a writer someday; I'd even picked out a name for myself - Roslyn Denny. Don't know how I came up with that. I guess I thought it sounded sophisticated:-) Fast forward some 50 years and I have notebooks and scraps of paper with story ideas on them, most written many years ago. Every time I unearthed them, I felt a bit sad about the dream not realized.

Recently, a friend of mine talked about someone they knew who had just self-published a book. An awareness came over me that, 'Yes, I could do it too. It's not too late!' So here we are and I can hardly contain my excitement!
