Crystal Chung

Crystal Chung developed the love of reading when she was working as a library page at the historic Redlands Smiley Library, California. Her mother grew up in poverty, and Crystal learned many life values and lessons from listening to her childhood stories. These stories shaped Crystal’s creative and imaginary mind, cementing her as a storyteller at heart.

With a bachelor degree and having been in the nursing field for more than twenty years, Crystal yearned to try something new and fresh. Combining the spirit of nursing with a sprinkle of magic, the story of Angelia the Legend came as a serendipitous project, originally written as a retirement gift for her colleague. Taking a leap of faith, Crystal turned it into a children’s book. She is excited for this adventure of storytelling.
