Kenny Whittington

Kenny Whittington was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He is the author of three books Psalms of Love, He maketh Me To Lie Down and recently The Inspired You. A former Postal employee who wrote poetry (Psalms of Love) to encourage himself and bless others turned to writing inspirational literature following his stroke on Thanksgiving Day 2015. He also is a minister at St. Matthews Gospel Tabernacle in Baltimore.

Prior to his stroke for over twenty years he also worked as a track coach in the Baltimore City, His last school being Reginald High School. Currently he works as a stroke mentor at Good Samaritan Hospital.

The Inspired You(sometimes it has to be about you) is an inspirational book that encourages and points the need for one to become the best version of themselves. Through my stroke experience I have come to realize, yes it is a beautiful to help and be a blessing to others but we need to make sure that we are the best versions of ourselves that we can be.
