Tracy Steffenson

Having a love of animals, that started as early as I can remember, my life has always been filled with the beautiful chaos my furry friends bring. Watching their daily interactions and interacting with each of their personalities, it only seemed natural that story book characters would spring to life.

My characters and stories show that even our furry family members have to learn how to share, not to take their bad moods out on others, follow the rules and so much more! I aim to show children - through the use of captivating characters that are based off of real life animals and pretty true situations - that their feelings and the life lessons they are learning are understood and appreciated on so many levels.

I am originally from the state of Iowa, but I have lived in the wonderful state of Oklahoma for all of my adult life. I wear many hats, but my main ones are as a newspaper publisher, freelance graphic designer and (of course) as a dog mom to Gizmo, Zah and Tiny Toes, who keep me completely occupied! I treasure my time with my fur babies and family, but other things I enjoy include art, nature, writing and snuggling up with a good book!
