I was born and raised in the oh so sunny UK and toiled away for the first large chunk of my working life 'up in the smoke' of London in international banking, with the requisite long daily commute. Life began (well, changed anyway) at 40 when even sunnier Queensland beckoned, moving to my wife's home state. An exciting new country and (surprisingly) a dynamic new career in real estate awaited! Australia lived up to its billing, just not quite so sure about the day job yet. Although it has been the catalyst that has launched me into the world of writing, so I shouldn't really complain...
