Dr. Ferhat Ozgur Catak

Ferhat Ozgur Catak is an associate professor at the University of Stavanger, Norway. He completed his csv degree in electrical and electronic engineering in 2002 and his PhD degree in Informatics in 2014. Previously, he worked at TUBITAK in Turkey, NTNU, and Simula Research Laboratory in Norway. His research interests encompass cyber security, artificial intelligence (AI), cryptography, and privacy methods, focusing on advancing the security and efficacy of digital systems. In addition to his academic and research roles, he serves as the Chair of the IEEE Norway Communications Society (Comsoc), where he leads initiatives to enhance the field of communications technologies and support professional development within the community in Norway.
