Heike Donner was born in 1971 in Osnabrück, Germany, and currently lives in Seevetal, south of Hamburg, with her husband and their boxer, Emma.
After completing her training at the Institute for Foreign Languages and Interpreting in the early 1990s, she gained experience working with several international companies.
From a young age, her imagination has been a source of inspiration, allowing her to weave a multitude of characters and their intricate emotional histories into her stories.
Dogs are her great passion, especially her boxer, Emma, who was born with a serious illness. Over the past few years, Heike has conducted countless research, held numerous discussions, and traveled through half of Germany, becoming a hobby expert on topics like kidney failure, pancreatitis, and more. Drawing from her experience, she is now working on a compact guidebook to offer encouragement and practical advice for dog owners. She knows all too well what it feels like to be confronted with a shocking diagnosis from the vet and to feel lost about how to handle the situation.
Writing, for her, is a powerful way to unleash creativity, share knowledge, and reflect on personal experiences.
